St Wulframs Church

St Wulfram’s is a Grade I Listed cathedral-like medieval parish church in the heart of Grantham and of nationally recognised significance.
Sir Simon Jenkins in his book 'England’s Thousand Best Churches' gave it a five-star rating, noting that "here is the finest steeple in England". The spacious and awe-inspiring interior has a broad nave and aisles. Inside and outside is a gallery of medieval carved stone heads and angels.
Visit the ancient Chained Library (the first public library in the country) or go down to the medieval Crypt Chapel. The windows contain wonderful Victorian and modern glass.
