Belvoir Castle

Belvoir Castle is a striking Regency-Gothic stately home and historic castle sitting atop a hill with sweeping views across the Vale of Belvoir.
First established after the Norman Conquest in 1066 and rebuilt several times, the present building dates mainly from the early 19th century and has been the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Rutland for centuries.
It’s surrounded by extensive gardens and parkland and is open to visitors who want to explore its architecture, history and landscaped grounds.
